Who are your tutors, what experience and education do they have?
Our tutors have specialized higher education in pedagogy
Do you have a license for educational activities?
Yes, our campus in Serbia has all the necessary documents to conduct educational activities
What documents will a student receive upon graduation from your school?
We issue international Learning Records with transcript of student performance. Please, note that "Get ready" is complimentary for local primary school program in your country.
Can the child learn in English? What level of language is enough?
We consider English level A2 to be sufficient to start learning
What is the study schedule and what is the daily workload? What does the school day consist of and how long does it take?
1-2 hours per day. Approximately 20% of the study time is spent in online communication with the tutor, once a day - checking completed assignments and feedback
What kind of progress reports will you send and how often?
We send parents regular reports on their child's progress, both in the form of grades and written feedback
How do you know how well the Cambridge Curriculum Standards are being met at a school?
We draw on many years of experience teaching blended international programs at our campus in Serbia. In addition, our pedagogical experts supervise tutors
What if the child has a conflict with the teacher? Will it be possible to change tutors?
In our online school conflicts with teachers are unlikely. However, if something like this should happen, our curator will intervene to deal with the situation. If it is really necessary, we can assign another tutor to the student
How do I organize my child's study space and day?
We recommend providing the student with a comfortable desk and chair, as well as a large enough monitor and good lighting in the room
What if a child has a question about a subject outside of the online group sessions with the tutor?
The student can always ask the tutor a question. If the question is asked outside of the online lecture hours, the tutor will respond asynchronously on the next working day
How is the study and recreation schedule regulated in an online school? Who monitors it?
For workload and breaks we use the official IGCSE and AL guideline, as well as the guideline of international education-related organizations
Will the student be able to sit at the computer during lessons? Will the student not be bored? What if a child is fidgety and gets distracted during online lessons?
Our learning materials are designed in such a way that it is easy and fun for children to learn. We also have interactive and media content to make learning more varied and fun
What are the technical requirements, what do I need to study, what equipment do I need?
The student will need fast internet and a headset with headphones and microphone to comfortably participate in online group sessions
Are all classes online or do students partially watch recordings of group sessions? Is it possible to watch the video in the recording?
If for some reason a student misses the weekly online group session with the tutor, he/she can always watch it in the recording and ask questions to the tutor
How is socialization in online education? How do students socialize with each other?
Students socialize with each other through collaborative project activities as well as weekly group video sessions with a tutor. In addition, online education saves students a lot of time by allowing them to engage in localized, themed special interest clubs
What additional online activities are there?
In our online school, students will be able to participate in online hackathons and clubs
Should a parent be present during the lesson? Up to what age?
No, you do not have to, our online program is only for children 11+, at this age children should already be quite independent
How involved should parents be in their child's school life in online education?
Parents are mainly involved at the stage of career guidance, as well as during the review of feedback on academic performance
Is there homework in this kind of education?
The pupil receives daily assignments for independent work from the tutor, but the level of workload always corresponds to the pupil's abilities and needs
How do universities and future employers perceive such online education?
A-levels certificates are accepted by universities all over the world
